Privacy Policy

We collect as little as we can, and only to make and look after your island.

What we collect

• From the order form: your email, and the names, lines and stories you choose to give us for the island.
• From PayPal: the payment confirmation, your name and email as PayPal shares them with sellers. We never see your card or bank details.
• When you visit: our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard server logs such as IP address and browser type for security and to keep the site running.

We do not use advertising trackers and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

How we use it

• To build your island and talk to you about it.
• To process payment and handle refunds.
• To keep your island online for the hosting period.

Where it is stored

Order details are stored in private storage at our hosting provider, Vercel, which may keep data on servers outside your country. The words that appear on your island are part of its web page, which anyone with the link can open.

How long we keep it

We keep order details for as long as your island is online, plus any period required for tax and payment records. You can ask us to delete your island and your details at any time.

Your choices

Email hello@dearisle.com to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or to take an island offline. We reply within 7 days.
